Humber & Wolds Rural Community Council launches the first Village Hall and Rural Community Buildings website

The first village hall and community building web site able to advertise the facilities and activities now available at community buildings across the East Riding of Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire launched at the end of 2010. Village Halls and other community buildings across the region are now registering on the site and local people, local authorities, organisations, businesses and individuals will start to benefit from this unique facility within the next few weeks!

Increasingly, community buildings across the region are being used as an affordable venue for private parties, access to services (mobile library, post office, and health services), meetings for voluntary, public and private sector organisations, as well as providing a programme of activities. The launch of the site will increase awareness of the range of community buildings available to hire and the wealth of activities taking place locally.

The web site will be packed with easy to access features.
